This is the first inauguration I've ever been interested in watching. Charli wasn't terribly interested, but we made her watch it anyway. I liked it. It even inspired me to work hard for about 5 hours, after which I reverted back to my normal level of effort.

This is the first inauguration I've ever been interested in watching. Charli wasn't terribly interested, but we made her watch it anyway. I liked it. It even inspired me to work hard for about 5 hours, after which I reverted back to my normal level of effort.

I too have high hopes. We will see.
Luckily, I was at work (with no TV, of course!) and did not get sucked into watching the whole thing. Katy recorded it, and we watched the "highlights".
It seems that after about an hour, the commentators ran out of meaningful comments, leaving you to watch a bunch of very secure black cars that you can't see into the windows of, driving through the streets of DC.
I think it will be interesting to watch and see what happens.
So far, my life is pretty much the same as it was before, but I am hopeful. I may, however, start shopping at JCrew and White House/Black Market. (Just kiddding!!!!)
