Memorial Day Brunch...
Once again, Charli enhances our social life by getting us invited to a Memorial Day brunch with her friends from daycare. Here she is spinning in a chair with her friend Xeno.

10 Week Checkup...
We had another doctor appointment today which went very smoothly. Buster weighed in at 14 lbs., which is 83rd percentile, and he is now 25 inches long, in the 93rd percentile. He is living up to the "big ol'" part if "big ol' Buster boy."
And with the arrival of my family next week, I am sure that Kelly will be thrilled to make good on her promise to ride the Redwood Valley Railway model train, now that Buster is here.

Mmm... Seaweed!!
Tonight was the end if semester Happy Hour for Charli's playschool group. Hard to believe, but all of the kids really seem to like seaweed! And honestly, what's not to like? Crunchy, salty, but still at least kinda healthy... Right?
Thing 2!
It's nice to be able to spend some time at home, bonding with my son... who always seems to sleep through our bonding sessions.

All quiet...
Well, after 2 months of guests and excitement and great food and lots of help from Binka, everything is quiet again here. We delivered Binka and Grandpa to the airport this morning and came back home to the horrifying notion that we're on our own! Well, until June when Biembaw, Prickly Grandpa, and Auntie Kelly show up. It also happens that I am now at home pretty much full time as well, now that I am between jobs. Perhaps I will find some time to work on that pile of train equipment downstairs....

Chinese dress, Chinese checkers...
Charli chose her wardrobe this morning, and went with the fancy Chinese dress in her closet. Then, she decided to take on Binka in a game of Chinese checkers. The game did not finish - I guess you could say it ended in a draw. Or simply in attrition.
