Wouldn't you know it? The very first night that we have a sleepover, we also have first ever blackout on Bernal. And not 2 weeks earlier, Nina had been telling us just how much Bella HATES blackouts. So at least we were prepared for her response, which was vocal and amounted to "I wanna go HOOOOOME!!!!". But we soon found ample distractions and were able to salvage the evening. Flashlights can be great fun, after all.
We finally got to sleep pretty late, but Bella stayed the night and seemed to have a good time going it. Hopefully she wasn't too traumatized by the blackout and will dare to spend the night here again!
Buster, meanwhile, slept.

Bella barely talked about the blackout. She did mention that she and Charli were lazy and shared the coach to watch some football !
