Proper way to spend a Sunday afternoon...

This is what I'm talking about! Here's a child who knows what Sunday
afternoon is for. A nice little nap, all spread out on the floor. Of
course, as I write this she is starting to stir, but we did get a good
hour relaxation here. I also finally got around to the obligatory
winter pruning -- hopefully I wasn't too late. Unfortunately there is
a chance that I have doomed our garden for the year. We shall see...

Glad to hear you had such a nice day. I too had a very relaxing Sunday...it was 78 degrees and sunny here. Of course I did everything that I possibly could to stay outside in the sun...read the paper, finished a book, ate lunch, started another book. It was awesome, and I actually got some sun!! :-) Good, because we are under a winter weather watch. Apparently some wicked storm is headed our way. You've got to love STL where it can be 78 on Sunday, sleet on Monday and snow on Tuesday!

I will be able to watch all this live very shortly. The new HP laptop with integrated wireless antenna, webcam, digital camera media port, built in theatre sound and, last but not least, s-video port for TV viewing is on the way. jerryschair will be back online in no time.

On the floor, on your back, arms up, legs straight: Only kids know how to really sleep. Problem is, old folks, when they (me) try that, it's so hard to get up: turn over, get up on your arms and knees, then put your hands on your knees, grunt, push...

You could try just starting to cry, and see if Mom will pick you up...

Oh, good idea, Korin! Next time, you have trouble sleeping, I'll give you some nyquil...that always works, esp. the kind that's 20% alcohol. But don't worry, cry and I'll be there to turn you over...
