Does she look older to you?

Both Korin and I thought that Charli looked older tonight when she
passed out after Korin fed her. Of course, maybe that's all just
parental hogwash and she actually looks as young and baby-like as she
did yesterday. Hard to tell, check out the picture yourself and you
be the judge!

Charli is now VERY close to crawling and seems to have figured out
that if she can just scoot her way over to our pseudo-hardwood floor
that her mobility increases dramatically. Unfortunately for her, she
is best at moving backwards which means that she ends up against the
wall pretty quickly. It is also of some concern that she is tasting
all of the furniture. But aside from those things it is pretty fun to
see her figuring things out.

I got my official cholesterol report today, and compared it to my
precious blood test from 11/28/2007, a mere 5 months before. Here is
the roundup:

Cholesterol before: 305, after: 157
Triglycerides before: 498, after: 117
HDL before: 36, after: 39 (40 is good, I'm on my way!)
LDL before: N/A (triglycerides too high!), after: 95

Looks like I have a shot at living to see Charli graduate!

Yep-she looks older. So old, in fact, that she is probably ready for a sibling! Katy and John are about 18 months apart and they just love each other!!! Peter and Katy are 23 months apart. That was 3 kids in 41 months. I swear to you that it was FUN!!!

I am ready for another trip to SF. Let me know if you have another "nanny crisis" in the near future, or maybe Bernie and I should just come out for a weekend.

sibling aaaaaaah!

we're not expecting any more nanny crises (altho if we did, i guess it wouldn't be a crisis), so you should just come out. :)

Yep -- she does look older, it sneaks up on you and hits you. We won't mention what I went through yesterday when Q got her "big girl bed". OMG!

BTW -- tell Sam congrats from me -- I can't believe that little baby we cuddled and cooed over is now graduated from college. Oh, and how MUCH the two of you look alike. Scary.

As for the not feeding her enough, let me tell you from someone who's kid has always been somewhere in the 10th percentile -- if she's active and healthy she's eating enough. Let her decide (to an extent) -- it will save you so much worry later!

WOW! Thanks for all the news. Can that Charli get any more precious?? What a happy, healthy little girl--you have no reason for concern. Also, Brian, I am very glad to hear that all your numbers are under control. Unfortunately, for all of us the time comes when we have to get a lot more health conscious. Jerry and I certainly have--but you feel much better when you take better care of yourself.Things are going well here. Jerry continues to improve, and life is slowly returning to somewhat normal. We are both getting very anxious for the middle of June.. Hugs to everyone. Take care. Mambaw

Charli looks the same and Brian's numbers are very good. I am jealous. I vote for another sibling, but I am just a technician.

Also the crawling videos from the next post are very exciting. I am sure she will be crawling by the time we get out there. I can hardly wait.

thanks for all the congrats everyone! i think charli looks older in this pic because she's actually got a neck... before you had to dig through all the chins to get there!
