Not-so-modern technology...
I think these devices have been in delivery rooms for years, but in case you have never seen one, this is the machine that tells you how much labor sucks. That little graph on the far right goes up when contractions happen, and it goes up a lot when big ones happen. So Korin is having those things right about now. The good news is that there is a few minutes of rest in between. And because we were up at 3am, it actually seems as if Korin gets a little teeny nap in there! But when the little graph goes up again, it's back to reality. No pain killers yet, but something tells me that is not far away.

Am pleased to hear that things are progressing. We are thinking about all of you, and praying that Buster will not take too long to make his entrance. Thanks for the updates. Mom Lawler
I loved my epidural. It gave me some sleep and tons of centimeters and power to push.
What is it about 3am? Baby Perry has been restless too. Been having some contractions here in HK and can't sleep... possibly just some stronger than usual practice contractions, possibly when the fun all starts... time (or timing, rather) will tell!
I liked it when the Daddy said something like, "Wow, babe, that was a huge one!!"
And then the Mommy said something like, "No sh@#, Sherlock. I think that you should shut up now and go get that guy with the drugs before I have to get up out of this bed and kill you! And don't think I haven't thought about it."
Ahhh...life's special little moments. Enjoy!
