goin' to the show

The Parkway Speakeasy Theater is one of those theaters where you can sit on a couch (if you get there early enough) and order pizza and beer or wine while you watch a movie. Every Monday night, the early shows are the Baby Brigade - meaning that kids younger than 1 year are welcome. At one of the mother things I went to last week, someone mentioned that Sweeney Todd was playing, so we went. It was great! It's the perfect way to see Sweeney Todd, since it isn't the most demanding movie... You don't pay full price, and you can talk to your baby during the movie and no one minds. In addition, it turns out that the Baby Brigade movie is pretty empty. We only got there 10 or 15 minutes before the movie started, and there were only 1 or 2 other families there, so we got a nice couch in the middle. Normally to get a couch, you have to get there at least a half hour early. Charli was fascinated by the movie. She watched the beginning, then she fussed a bit and we talked and fed for a while. Then she watched some more, and then she fell asleep. She likes Johnny Depp; I'm sure of it.

p.s. I posted some new pictures on the website.

The new pictures are great!! Especially the podium picture. Charli looks just like a politician about to tell a lie. She is keeping with the times.

I saw the deamon barber of fleet street at the fox theater several years ago...looking forward to seeing the movie. We have similiar movie theater in STL as well, and we never go there. (It is down by SLU in a building that used to be a Moolah temple...there is a bar, movie theater, bowling, pool tables, etc.) I am glad that Charli has had early exposure to Johnny Depp. That is good parenting!!!

I thought she looked just like a politician too! I thought about labeling it something like "I am the decision maker", or "Read my lips: no more taxes!" Maybe I should go back and do that...

Korin, I cannot tell you how much I am enjoying all your blogs. Please do not worry about telling us too much-that would not be possible. Charli just gets sweeter and more precious by the day. I am so happy you all are enjoying her so much. Keep up the good work!!

Beautiful pictures! Keep 'em coming. If Charli runs for office, I'll vote for her. But, "No more taxes"?

Charli for president! I can practically hear her inaugural address now... "gggkkah. hnngoo" - and the crowd erupts with applause!

Thanks for all the updates... It's great to have new material to satisfy my daily Charli craving. And to show off to everybody within earshot.
