quack honk snore

Yesterday Mom really wanted to take Charli to the park to see the ducks. I was feeling lazy and whined about it being cold out. Mom called me names, so we went to the park. There turned out to be few ducks, but lots of geese. These are some pictures of Charli enjoying the geese... That's right, she slept through the ENTIRE park visit, including the car rides on either end. Check out that second pair of super cute warm shoes!

In other news, you may notice that Charli got a new cute hat. This hat is crocheted, but not by me. I look at it in crafty envy. Sally W., who lives down the street, saw it and had to get it for Charli, and it fits perfectly! Sometimes it gets turned so that the flower is right in the front, and then she looks like a fireman - it's hilarious! She doesn't even seem to mind wearing it, unless it falls down over her eyes. I must try to make one.

She also got to wear her warm clothes that we got from Anna K., so we could walk around outside a little bit when meeting Kim on Wednesday. We didn't end up walking around outside very much, and it wasn't that cold anyway, but it's a really cute outfit!

Brian got here this evening, and it is great! We didn't get home until right around Charli's bedtime, so he didn't get to spend much awake time with her, but they're both upstairs asleep together right now. Time to go join them, I think!

So, if Charli gets fussy, you either go see the geese, or take a walk on the beach. That is very convenient.

The hat and snow suit are very cute. I am glad the family is reunited and everyone is happy and Brian can come straight home from work now.

Charli has changed so much since we were there. Thanks for the frequent updates. All this makes me look forward with great excitement to our June visit. That seems like a long time from now. Tell Charli to hang on (as if she is worried about getting attention).
